David Kalife is Board Advisor with RIVIONT. He focuses on supporting global, regional business leaders executing their business strategy in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia region. Expertise in Fuel, Retail and Services, Renewable Energies.

Mr. Kalife has earned a reputation for leading transformation, driving innovation, mentoring and successfully managing publicly listed or state owned organizations in complex, multi-cultural environments.

Since 2017, the French national Mr. Kalife is based in Oman as CEO of Oman Oil Marketing Company, a Publicly listed Group of companies: turnover US$ 2 Bn, investment US$ 60 M yearly, staff of 1000. Fuel & Non Fuel businesses. B2B and B2C. Operating in Oman, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania.

Prior, Mr. Kalife served for 21 years with Total, a French multinational integrated oil and gas company founded in 1924 and one of the seven “Supermajor” oil companies in the world, in various global and regional leadership roles in France, China, UAE, Africa, Fiji, Singapore and India. During his years at Total, he boosted the growth of lubricants and special fluids in China, then oversaw the development of fuel and non-fuel revenues in the South-West Pacific region in addition to sealing successful partnerships in the Middle East with Hitachi Construction Machinery, Michelin, AW Rostamani Trading, KIA Motors among others.

Mr. Kalife graduated from a French top Business School NEOMA and holds a Master in Business Administration from INSEAD where he subsequently acted as an interviewer. A speaker of seven languages including German, Chinese, Arabic and Spanish, Mr. Kalife is also a keen humanitarian and a founding member of “Fleur de Bitume”, one of France’s largest charitable associations for the homeless. Mr. Kalife enjoys swimming, backpacking in Asia and Africa and holds a black belt in martial arts. He loves cooking, reading and writing poetry.
