Renier Vree is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Nouryon. He has executive oversight of the company’s Financial and Information Management functions. Mr. Vree joined Nouryon in 2018 from Arcadis, a publicly-listed global design, engineering and management consulting company, where he served for eight years as Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Management, as well as for 6 months as interim CEO. He started his career at Royal Philips N.V. in 1987, where he held managerial and finance positions, including CFO and Executive Vice President at Philips Lighting. Mr. Vree is a non-executive Director of the Board of Nobian, and Chairman of the Committee of the “Future Role of the CFO” of the Association of Register Controllers (VRC) in the Netherlands.
A Dutch national, Mr. Vree has a degree in Quantitative Business Economics from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, and a post-master’s degree as a Registered Controller from the Vrije University in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
